Chewy – Pet of the Month – October 2014

Everyone meet, Chewy! He’s the Pet of the Month for October! Chewy was adopted from Priceless Pets as a puppy and had to be returned 6 years later basically because of breed discrimination for being a “pit bull”. The funny thing is he’s not even a “pit bull”. Chewy is a boxer mix who is currently going through training. He knows sit, stay, down, leave it, and loves people! He is great with kids and takes treats from them in the gentlest way.

I never met Chewy’s previous owners but after spending some time with this boy, I know they’ve got be missing him. Although he’s 6 years old he still has tons of energy. I’m pretty sure he still thinks he’s a puppy! He would be GREAT as an only dog in the house and could coexist with another dog as long as the owner is patient and does a proper introduction.

In the month of “Trick of Treat”, Chewy is definitely looking for a treat in the form a forever family!
